Charlie Baumhauer

Charlies’ experience bridges the gap between creative and executive as his 35+ years in marketing, news, and television production attests. His awards including three Emmy’s (14 nominations), numerous Associated Press awards including Best Photographer, Best Documentary and Best Sports Program, a UPI award for Creative Use of the Medium, and a Peabody for the TV movie “The Boy King.” He probably has more awards than the rest of Bl!nk’s staff combined, but he’s been around forever, so he’s had more time to acquire them than is strictly fair.

Charlie’s partnerships have included CBS, Turner Broadcasting, PBS, ABC and the BBC. Long-time production manager for local affiliate, WKRG, he held the same title during a similar stint with Vision Design Teleproductions in Pensacola, Fl.

The extent of Charlie’s role in the current economic crisis cannot be verified, but it is true that upon leaving TV, Charlie was a stock broker and marketer for Morgan Stanley, two local banks, and marketing and sales director for Alabama’s largest private sewer utility. The connection between Charlie’s involvement with financial institutions and the sewer system raises many questions, and is still under investigation.

Residing in Fairhope, Al. he, his wife Joanne and 4 children live on the banks of Fish River. Charlie likes to hunt and play loud guitar.
